Obudu Monarch, Uti Jedy Agba Rallies support for Ayade

Ben ayadeThe Paramount ruler of Obudu Local Government Area, HRM Uti Joseph Davis Agba has called on all Crossriverians to support the administration of Senator Ben Ayade.

The Obudu Monarch made the assertion yesterday when thousands of people throng the streets to honor an industrious son Governor Ben Ayade while pledging their total support for his administration till 2023.

The surging crowd which gathered at the Obudu Local Government Headquarters at about 9.00 am took their message of solidarity to several streets including: Ranch Road, Hospital Road, Calabar Street, Uquart Street and the Main Market Road before betting at the Paramount Ruler’s Office close to the Obudu County Council Town Hall where they trooped to pay homage and were addressed by the Paramount Ruler, Uti Joseph Davis Agba.

Uti Agba who was visibly overwhelmed by the crowd said God gave the state a worthy son in the person of Governor Ayade and that all well meaning Cross Riverians must co-operate and support his administration.

Uti Agba maintained that it was God’s mandate for Governor Ayade to rule the state this time around and pray for the Government to succeed in this mandate especially as the programmes of the government are geared towards alleviating the standard of living of the masses.

Highpoint of the event was the short-stop-over at the Cyclist Park where several personalities addresses the crowd including: Hon. Kenneth Aklah, Special Adviser, Event Management, Governor’s Office, Chief Eugene Ake, Chief Executive INFRACROSS, Hon. Emma Ugbe, Chairman, Obudu Local Government urging support for the administration adding that people should disregard rumors on social media platforms as the administration was evolving a legacy of developing the State in all ramifications never witnessed in the history of Nigeria.

Meanwhile rally participants were entertained by the Swange Dance from Benue State which came to add colour to the glamour of the event. The banner and placards welding crowd also carried several banners and hundreds of placards some of which reads: “We love Ayade”, “Ayade is God sent don’t touch God’s anointed”, “Our digital Governor take us to the promise land”.
